After our whirlwind start, we had some downtime to edit photos. Or rather, Jesse edited photos and I kept him supplied with samples of the microbrews we picked up during our travels. We recharged ourselves and the many batteries it takes to power our equipment and got ready to head for our Evergreen Lake House wedding. The weather promised to be sunny, a welcome change from weeks of daily rainstorms.
For their wedding, Alissa and Jud opted for an intimate weekday ceremony with their closest family and friends. And, of course, their dog Marley, who looked quite sharp in his tux. They exchanged vows at the edge of the lake as the sun went down, in front of their guests, several geese, an otter, and a family of elk. The rain did indeed hold off and we were treated to a spectacular mountain sunset, of which we made ample use while taking photos of the newlyweds.
