Copper Mountain holds a special place in Shantel and Matt’s hearts. Shantel grew up skiing at Copper and it’s where she taught Matt how to ski. She gave him some strong motivation, too. When they started dating, she told him that if he wanted to see her at all during the winter, he’d have to learn how to ski.
And it worked! In the winter, you’ll most likely find them on the slopes or at Endo’s Adrenaline Cafe. So it made perfect sense for them to have their Copper Mountain wedding at the top of the American Eagle lift. Guests were treated to a scenic chairlift ride to the ceremony site and breathtaking views while Shantel and Matt exchanged vows. The party commenced inside Copper Station (just in time for a summer rainstorm to move through) and, with a little help from Mike of Dancin’ Shoes DJ, everyone celebrated long into the brisk mountain evening.
