Larimer Square Engagement

Those of you who know us know our propensity for always trying something new and different. Well, we had the holy grail of photo shoots  for our Larimer Square engagement on Thursday evening:  beautiful sunset, perfect weather, new equipment to try out and a couple who was enthusiastic about letting us work on some fresh techniques.

Joe is a Denver-area native and Brittany moved from Florida to Colorado in 2013 where they met while playing softball in a beer league. And I can’t imagine a more perfect match! I don’t think we stopped laughing the entire shoot. Engagement photos can often feel pretty awkward (how often do you dip your loved one in a park at sunset while looking into their eyes?), but they rolled with whatever we asked them to do and made it undeniably “them.”

We started out at Denver City Park where we incorporated a really cool art fixture outside of the Museum of Nature and Science before making great use of the sunset behind Denver’s skyline. Then we headed over to Larimer Square for some evening photos and a nightcap at Bistro Vendome to top off the evening.

Brittany and Joe, thank you so much for allowing us to capture your Denver City Park and Larimer Square engagement. We had a blast with you two and we hope that our paths cross again in the future!
