River Bend Wedding

Perhaps the most amazing thing about weddings in Colorado is the fantastic natural beauty of the surroundings. Katy and Adam’s River Bend wedding was no different. Not only was the location impressive, combining red sandstone, a cool river, and bright green trees, they made sure to incorporate Colorado’s wild nature into their wedding details.

The girls started the day off getting ready in River Bend‘s kick-ass “glamping” tent. Hidden away from prying eyes, but with a view of the river, the tent was the perfect spot to get dressed and sneak a few relaxing moments before the festivities began. Meanwhile, the guys enjoyed some scotch while getting ready in the groom’s cabin.

During their first look, Katy and Adam also exchanged personal vows in an intimate setting beside the river. After a few bride and groom portraits, they went back into hiding before the ceremony began. The couple was then wed in a very personal ceremony by the river, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Katy and Adam’s rings are some of my favorite I’ve seen. Evoking images of rocks and trees, their rings were captivating without being flashy and blended easily with the scenery.

After the ceremony and some family photos, the party got started, helped along by Whitewater Ramble, a local bluegrass band that put the cherry on top of this quintessential Colorado wedding!

Katie and Adam, it was an absolute pleasure capturing (and being a part of) your beautiful River Bend wedding. We wish you two all the best and truly hope that our paths cross again down the road. Congratulations to you both!
