We’re rapidly approaching our first wedding of 2016, so we decided to stretch our photography muscles with an experimental smoke bomb engagement shoot last weekend. We started out in the bright morning sunshine at the base of the Flatirons testing our new lighting set up, the Paul C. Buff Einstein 640, which allows us to shoot with studio lighting in even the brightest sunlight.
Then we all took a break to watch a pretty important football game (Go Broncos!) before reconvening for the really fun stuff. After the sun went down, we headed to the Coal Creek trail to do something we’ve been wanting to try for quite a while: smoke bomb engagement photos. The result?
